I have a soft spot for Gaga’s demos as I like the texture they have (potato quality lol). Plus the production is *so* 90s house dance techno and some of that grit is lost in the final version’s gleam.

So throw that in the Ariana version and I’m absolutely sold (which I also love, I want to say).

I’m convinced no one read the OP. It’s based on the type of production not the quality of the audio we have. :spin:

Well yes, but the production also sounds like the production of a demo.

I really really love the demo, idk why. I am not big into mainstream pop so Ariana does nothing for me (no offence to her it just doesn’t appeal to me)

the ‘ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh’s are so pretty sounding and I like aspects of the instrumental more

I'm personally biased over vintage inspired music on every genre, so I'm obsessed with the 90's house, almost Cece Peniston inspired direction of the demo.

I hope someone is kind enough to finish the production of the demo to make it sound more polished. I heard a version that combines both the final and the demo, but it misses the nostalgic feel of the demo alone.

I love the official version a little more than the demo version. But the demo version of Rain on Me is one her best demos.

Demo version is lit!

Like a full journey to early/mid 90s euro house.

Those of us who are over 28 will always have a soft spot for this type of music.

The only thing I miss from the demo is the line "I was born for the night and it changed my life"

Go stream heaven and hell then :ladyhaha:
