Scooter sold Taylor's master's to Universal

From what I've gathered some songs are now registered under Universal (who own Taylor's current label, Republic Records) instead of Big Machine (according to Spotify and apparently Tidal). While majority of Taylor's songs (and all the albums) are still registered under BM, maybe Taylor has brought her masters back after all:pray:

If true, amazing! But can we still get a re-recording of her first five albums please :bear:

The way that if she does re-record now it makes her look like she’s being petty and annoying if he actually sold them to the company that owns her label

Scooter really played this well if it happened cuz he made all the money and made everything right, all while making it look like she complained about nothing

please enlighten me to death

Scooter sold Taylor's album art and music videos to another company that wanted to give them back to her, but she rejected because Scooter would still profit of them.

:oprah:

Scooter did not play this well and it 100% backfired on him :rip:  at best, he sold the masters back to her because of the immense public pressure, discussion and narrative she created around the ownership of her music after exposing how disgustingly him and Scott Borschetta behaved.

And at worst he passed the hot potato to someone else because Taylor will tank his investment by re-recording her entire catalogue.

Yes, he made money off of it in the end but either way he got heaps of bad press and got painted as a total douchebag. He really thought him and his family would be raking in the cash from these masters for generations to come only to get rid of them a little more than a year later :lmao:
