Lmao there is no where in nature that says dresses are for women and suits are for men. And if men can't wear dresses then by that logic women shouldn't be able to wear suits :oprah:

First, Candace, gender is (as are most things in life) a social construct.
But the world she is describing sounds exciting to me! Getting rid of toxic masculinity and adding a dose of Marxism to the West? :tony:

In all seriousness, it's so sad that we have progressed far as a species only to keep reverting -- with climate change; unfettered capitalism; no healthcare; etc.  As a sociology professor once told me, sex and gender is still such a touchy area for people because they desperately cling to the binary.  Thank you to Harry Styles for continue to break the boundaries and binaries!  Men and women can embrace both femininity and masculinity, FFS.

I always laugh at anyone who seems to think men embracing their feminine side is some sort of epidemic. You will always find men who prefer a traditionally masculine aesthetic over anything else the vast majority of the time. In fact, men sporting full beards is still a trend that's all the rage. You can't get much manlier than that...except the trend decades ago was for men to be clean shaven. And those men were considered the height of masculinity. And if you look at men having long wavy hair and wearing tight clothes and pointy boots and make up...look at the rock bands of the 80's. Again, those men were considered the height of masculinity and went through groupies like no one's business, certainly a lot more than the average "manly" man off the street. If you look at androgynous men throughout history, you'll find that they tends to be ladies men. Androgynous men have always been eternal catnip to women. I think that's why so many macho men feel threatened by them. When a woman comes along who feels the same way, I just don't get it. While men of all walks of life can be attractive, I personally think Harry is more attractive than the average bearded, muscle-bound macho man. So, is men being more "feminine" really an issue when it comes to men and women being attracted? I don't think the species is going to go extinct any time yet.

No, she’s not. Men throughout history have worn clothing that would be considered feminine today. It doesn’t mean anything other than traditional values are becoming outdated, and for good reason.
