Trump did not win. Trump did not get more votes. This is a complete lie. The Minitrue in George Orwell’s 1984 could not have created a lie more complete. These people are marching not for the truth, but to support the lies of their wannabe dictator and wannabe autocrat. We know it is a lie because, for Trump to win, the vote count would have to be off by at least 10,000 in at least three different states (More than 10,000 per state, over 44,000 votes is the minimum that have to be wrong). To manufacture a vote tally that inaccurate would require a wide scale conspiracy, a conspiracy for which no evidence exists (any “evidence” so far, when given the scrutiny of a court hearing where people have to testify under oath—i.e. they can get arrested if caught lying—melts like snow in springtime), a conspiracy which requires a vote count more inaccurate than anything we have had since 1876 [1]. This is truly Orwellian. These people would accept any lie the Minitrue (Orwell’s department in 1984 devoted to manufacturing lies) tells them. If you told them “We have always been at war with Eastasia”, these people would conveniently forget we were at war with Eurasia last week, discarding their own memories because it was not the truth coming out of Big Brother’s (or Trump’s) mouth. Orwell predicted this, but it is unsettling to watch happen to my nation. [1] Unlike today, we had solid evidence of vote rigging in 1876, e.g. NC having 101% of its population vote.
