Not just that, but if you win the presidency by illegal means or cheating, you are essentially immune from consequences until after office if the legislature won't impeach. Then, you can pardon yourself of all Federal crimes before leaving office. It's pretty ****ed up. As long as democrats are in control, the President isn't above the law, but the second it's a Republican, we're ****ed again. And I feel the reason dem presidents are so scrutinized is because the republicans are always accusing them of everything.
