cultural appropriation is never okay.

it’s up to the people whose culture was referenced, and how they feel. if someone feels offended, it’s not anyone’s place to tell them how to feel. you dont have to agree, but you cant tell someone if they should or shouldn’t be offended.

It's always amaze that most of the time it's a woman who's being called out and usually it's very selective, some specific women that has many fans here wouldn't be called out by the same people who are now against Cardi..

I mean, she's not naked here, she's not making fun of the culture, she literally just standing there, she's totally respectful.

I often wonder if these 'cancel culture' moments are just publicity stunts, like her team would've known the photoshoot is referencing Hindu culture and as far as I'm concerned there's nothing wrong with that but by Cardi apoligising it kinda brings attention to the campaign/product that she's advertising?
