Omg I’m not against political discussions I’ve been part of many on the forum since the election. The point I’m trying to make is all these threads have turned into a lot of bickering and arguing and I wish Gaga would do anything to distract us from the mess for at least a minute to lighten things up that’s all. Not sure why some of y’all are doing the most about it I just wish there was more positivity around here. I can’t even voice that opinion without getting passive aggressive responses. FATCAT 60,950
Progressives won all their seats again because they're safe seats. I'm sorry, but running far left is not going to help us pick up seats in places where even moderates have support gaps. The logic is flawed, and it's pretty blatant. I understand that the answer is not staying centrist but the answer is also not going full-blown AOC. We can find a comfortable middle ground for the party as a whole so that we can be competitive in districts and states that are more conservative. And all it’s done is move the Democratic Party as a whole shifting to the right. The complete opposite of the objective. So, why keep using the same formula? I just said that we need to push to the left, that is obviously a different formula. I just don't think it's possible with self proclaimed democratic socialists. It's gonna neuter their chances with easily fear-mongered independents. This kitten over here (meow)
JusKeepBreathin 19,311
Anyone who thinks African American's are ultra left need a reality check. So do the people that think Latinos are ulra left. AOC's first comment says it all. Most of the groups she mentioned are conservative and moderate. Those are the groups that won us the election.
