I love Ava too and I wish her all the success in the world, but @PsychoMaxcara your approach to this whole thing is slightly exaggerated 

You actually risk alienating her from people here by making these big, in-your-face statements about her that aren't true (yet). She is achieving good success, but she's nowhere near being "one of the biggest and most influential pop stars of our generation". She certainly has the potential and I think with her work ethic and the quality of her music she's on the right track, but let's not jump the gun just yet

I don't think Ava's success is on par with some main pop girls the past few years or some huge artists like Cardi B, Gaga, and Ari, but I still think she has been extremely successful. Just because you personally don't hear about her all the time in the US does not mean she isn't widely successful in Europe. I've heard people say that she is everywhere in Europe and I've even heard some of my friends who aren't pop music nerds or anything listen to her, and when I ask how they know so many of her songs, they always say, "I heard em on the radio." She may not be the most iconic star yet, but she has definitely had momentum the past couple years whether you like her songs or not.

No offense, but if you think Ava is a MPG, then artists like Bebe Rexha and Doja Cat would be considered as such, too. But they’re (rightfully) not. And the MPG title would lose literally all of its meaning
