Chromatican 4,046
Why do people talk like this? Honestly she should know better. It does seem dismissive considering Latina women voted for Trump in higher numbers than Black women.

Guest
It doesn't take a deep analysis to know that she doesn't mean any harm, but sis needs to learn how to lift her community up without dismissing others.

gag 22,449
I'm sorry but look at how easy it was to avoid all of this Women of color showed up in big ways. O̶f̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶r̶s̶e̶,̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶s̶a̶w̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶G̶e̶o̶r̶g̶i̶a̶ ̶w̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶B̶l̶a̶c̶k̶ ̶w̶o̶m̶e̶n̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶d̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶L̶a̶t̶i̶n̶a̶ ̶w̶o̶m̶e̶n̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶l̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶o̶i̶n̶e̶s̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶e̶. That spirit and perseverance that Latinas use in their daily life, the struggle to pay their bills and the struggle to show up to their jobs … that’s the same perseverance and spirit they used to show up to the polls. That's it That's all headspin, happiness, DE̤̣A̢̯͔̘T͏͙̗̟̫H̗̙͡ͅ

TimisaMonster 31,073
Is it just me or does the quote when read sounds like she is saying Latinas are poor and not punctual and they didn't show up to the polls to support??? Watching the video tho it doesn't sound as bad but still the comment on the Latin community is a bit odd...nowhere really was there a strong push of endorsement from them and the polls show a lot voted for Trump surprisingly with how he has talked about them in the past Truly the black community went above and beyond in their support for Biden Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! Esteban 2,300
Maybe she thinks it's inapropriate to talk about a community which is not hers.. So she is talking about something she feels legitimate for? Namely, latinas, knowing a lot of them usually vote red so she is proud of her community. I don't think it's problematic, if she talked about black people, some people would come for her too, telling she is not legitimate to talk about it

MANiCURE 6 10,295
She's not dismissing any other communities.. She just saying Latinas girls work hard and show perseverance to the poll. If she would have talk for the black community, some people would've come to her for stealing their voices.

Maybe I didn't understood everything she said For me, she's just saying Latinas women are "true heroines" not the one and only heroines.
