Also, fun fact: Jill Biden will be the first First Lady to have a day job outside of the White House! She’s been a teacher for decades and will continue to be one throughout Biden’s presidency. Plus, Joe Biden’s interviews I’ve seen indicate to me, imho, that he may be the most empathic prez I’ve seen in my lifetime. The Bidens know loss and overcoming it. I’m especially impressed with our new First Lady and her work as an educator. Just really hope Biden/Harris keeps their promises — it looks like they are— but let’s solve healthcare; an LGBTQ+ protection executive order; and decriminalize, if not legalize pot! Time will tell! Batwings 12,957 Posted November 9, 2020 Share Posted November 9, 2020 Even though I'm not 100% with Biden's politics (I'm far more left-leaning), every interview I've seen and every one of his speeches I've seen shows him to be a really kind, down to earth, genuinely good person, and I believe in him. Also, I think it's really significant to note that Biden and Harris hit the ground running getting to work as soon as the results were announced. Meanwhile, Trump is having Twitter tantrums and golfing -- like he's done for most of his presidency, all while promising a bigly, beautiful health care plan like no one has ever seen.
