You have to :bradley: the first one is considered an absolute classic in cinema (at its time it was the highest grossing movie in history) and the second is pretty well liked too. The third has people a bit divided over it but you gotta watch the first 2.

Also, Jurassic World is a direct sequel to the original movie as it takes place 22 years after on the same island. The original park is what the kids encounter in the jungle when they get lost.

I will! But what bothers me about old movies that involved aalot of special effects is that they always look lame af or didn't age very good, but i loved these 2 new ones so i might try the old ones. Thank you tricon

I enjoyed the last movies. Fallen Kingdom was amazing. I watched it on 4D it was a whole new experience :bradley: can’t wait for the next one!

I was looking forward to the game a lot, but the limitations and lack of dino behavior was really disappointing :selena: I have the second highest rated review for the game on steam and its not very positive :bradley: I still really enjoyed it, it just didnt live up to the expectations. But the Frontier roadmap leak that happened a year or two ago specifically stated they were working on a sequel (that would coincide with Dominion) that would resolve the issues people had with the first game. I hope they really do improve it because it had so much potential that it wasted :selena: A better pathing system, individual people instead of path generated facades (it has the same engine as Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo so the fact that the visitors aren't individual people with needs and just facades generated on paths is disappointing) And more building variations & customization is desperately needed too.

Something about the old movies that people actually prefer- are the visual effects because almost every scene uses animatronics instead of CGI and they are really really well done. (The first JW used almost entirely CGI but they used a lot more animatronics for Fallen Kingdom)

A lot of people didn't like Fallen Kingdom but it's probably my third fav movie in the franchise so far :selena: I really enjoyed it and the horror factor that the director brought into the movie. I know it's a lot different than what people are used to but I feel that it carried out its purpose well and brought the story to where it needed to go. That last scene when the boat was leaving the island is the second time a movie has ever made me cry :bradley:

Am I delusional or why in the world would it take til mid 2022 to release this film if they've already finished filming? (Corona aside, as now it would make sense to hold off due to theater closures) but does it really take THAT long to edit a movie?? or is it just cause of the special effects?

Definitely because most of big movies that were meant to be released in 2020 are pushed to 2021. Universal bet a lot on JW Dominion so it's better off that way. It'll have its own time to shine when the whole situation is going better.

I'm very fine with it being delayed because that means they'll have time to edit it or reshoot few things if it's needed. The movie won't be rushed and that's a good news (especially knowing the filming was delayed because of Covid)
