The actress also recieved death threats . She issued an apology , where she admits to regretting posting the photos and broke down in tears begging for forgiveness Following the controversy Rahama Sadau has been suspended from the northern nigerian filmmakers association and banned from making movies since her photo led people into questioning and insulting the Islamic religion and also making damning comments about the Holy Prophet Mohammed, founder of the Islamic religion. My heart goes out to her, and hope that her supporters are uplifting her right now. I second this and would also add that especially not discussing these major issues that by now also exist in parts of western muslim communities opens the door for right wing xenophobic populists.
