I see no reason to celebrate as all this election has shown is who we have to lobby against. I don't think this is a particularly great moment in history and we won't really know that it is or that it was until after we see the results of said Biden administration. I have to laugh, there is so much to celebrate. Child/family separation at the boarder STOPS, day 1. DACA recipients get to breathe, day 1. Trans troops get to server, day 1. Karen Smith 10,026
Omg yaaaasss I'm so happy and it doesn't only mean your success. America has huge influence on world politics, including in my country in Poland. My president has a good relationship with Trump because they share similar views. Fortunately, this will change, the Polish government may see that it has support if it does not respect human rights. I expect this from Joe Biden, so that he does not praise Poland like Trump and see the problem of homophobia like Trump.

Time to lobby against everything the Biden administration wants to do when they decide they want to compromise with the republicans and not deliver to the american people. Do not for a second think that it's time to go back to brunch or go back to sleep. Biden will do things that is deserving of criticism. Do not let him have the excuse of the republicans made him do it. If he's going to be president, he's going to have to actually use the bully pulpit of the presidency to create meaningful change. Wonder what excuse neolibs will use to shut people up this time? “omggg you’re helping the republicans by pushing for the ‘socialism’ they hate so much 😤😤😤”

Could you let us be happy for one second though, I see your criticism of the democratic party every time I'm on this forum. Your points are valid but they become tedious when yoh just keep reiterating the same thing.
MJHolland 12,725
I'm so happy. This is the best day this country has seen in 4 years, at least. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Imagine how tired WE are hearing “Trump bad” when the Dems had a huge part in installing him in the first place... he’s his own chaos agent but like things are so much more complicated than one man out of office

I totally understand that I'm in the minority of the entire forum with regard to political ideology and views. That said, it's because I have an activist mindset. From my POV, it's not negativity at all but focused determination to constantly bring attention to what needs changing. I do think it's great that Trump is going to be removed out of office but I think it needs to be kept in mind that Trump is only one person, president or not. We still did not get rid of McConnel. We didn't get rid of Collins. We didn't get rid of near enough people and in fact we now have more adversaries in the house because of the way the democrats campaigned this cycle. I am pleased Trump is gone, and will continue to celebrate in it, but its time to stop playing games with the working class people seem to think only exist in the south and not serving your starbucks everyday. They just served y’all a fascist... I hope Biden overdelivers... y’all can’t afford another fascist uprising. This was SO close. **** Trump tho
