Yes, votes are being counted. And factoring trends within the remaining counties, his lead will only expand from this point on.

Yeah, good. okay.

Time to lobby against everything the Biden administration wants to do when they decide they want to compromise with the republicans and not deliver to the american people.

Do not for a second think that it's time to go back to brunch or go back to sleep. Biden will do things that is deserving of criticism. Do not let him have the excuse of the republicans made him do it.

If he's going to be president, he's going to have to actually use the bully pulpit of the presidency to create meaningful change.

Is it official? This is pretty confusing for us non-americans

It’s best to wait for the Associated Press to call it because they’re regarded as the most reliable media outlet for elections. But, whoever “wins” election night based on what the media calls is not necessarily the winner. It all comes down to the electoral college’s vote a few weeks after election night. The electoral college is a group of electors from each state that pledges to cast their vote based on who their state has voted for; the electoral college, not the popular vote, actually decides the election. Every once and a while there are “faithless electors” who break their pledge by voting for another candidate besides the one their state voted for or by not voting at all (this is basically legal by the way).

so, it’s really not ever official until sometime in December when those votes are cast. It’s not necessarily the same as the people’s vote/whoever is called on election night..

Let's stay united for the 2 Georgia senate races. Whether you're a progressive or a centrist Democrat, it's best to have the majority in the Senate so Joe Biden doesn't have to rely on Americans. Left-wing criticism of centrist Dems will also be much, much stronger. I think a progressive could win the 2024 primaries if Democrats take the senate and barely anything gets done. However, if they don't have the senate, then centrist Democrats are pretty much excused from any blame because it would be Republicans' fault. So let's go for those two senate seats in Georgia. Black, white, centrist, progressive, old, young - Democrats need to stay united, it's for the benefit of all.

We see it differently and that's okay. I see no reason to celebrate as all this election has shown is who we have to lobby against. I don't think this is a particularly great moment in history and we won't really know that it is or that it was until after we see the results of said Biden administration.
