Nate Silver on Twitter right now The outcome of the race for the two Senate seats in Georgia remains open: The Republican Senate candidate David Perdue will very likely have to go to a runoff election in January against his Democratic rival Jon Ossoff. This is reported by the 538 statistician Nate Silver. Before that, it was already clear that Senator Kelly Loeffler would also have to go into the runoff election against Democrat Raphael Warnock. If Joe Biden becomes president, these two races will be about control of the Senate. The Republicans will control 50 seats after the election, the Democrats 48.
