Especially not with the blue collar workers in Michigan that Biden is trying to win back. People like his policies but they clearly aren't willing to take a chance on his candidacy. If they were, he would have won against Hillary or Biden. Moderates as presidents are fine. They're supposed to be unifiers anyway so being a centrist makes sense. We need more progressives in the senate and house though. Expand "the squad" and give Bernie more senate friends. That's how I see it at least. Bernie did better with Cuban voters in Florida than Biden did, though. I just don’t see any data bearing this sort of analysis out at all. Biden’s camp literally said that they didn’t see Latinos as a part of their path to victory. They spent tens of millions of dollars in the state on ads, but almost nothing on voter turnout efforts and Latino outreach. I get this line of thinking, but I just haven’t seen any data that actually supports it. I fully believe that Bernie’s overwhelming support with Latinos would have carried over into Florida, despite the conventional wisdom (which has largely been proven false in every other respect tonight).
