Like they always say, Trump was a symptom and the disease is still very much there and active. Former First Lady of the United States. Now card-carrying member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). I think it's on purpose because you can't be that dumb. But hey, it's Trump, he said COVID cases were higher because testing was higher. He just goes by cheap logic. Basically yes, that's why it's so hard. With all the vote supression they've done over the years? The smokescreen they put up by accusing the Democrats of the exact thing, the audacity is unbelievable.

All we got here is that the White House will not be a Jerry Springer Show rerun every day. McConnell is still going to block pretty much anything the president tries to do, including ignoring any supreme court justice who may end up being picked by Biden. Obamacare has a non-zero chance of being invalidated in next week’s California v. Texas case going to the Supreme Court, and we don’t have the senate to counteract that. So, it’s up to whether Barrett decides we can sever the individual mandate from the rest of the ACA. I say more likely than not, since she did very specifically bring up severability when asked about the ACA by Feinstein. Voting rights and abortion rights are in danger. Gay rights, strangely, seem to be favored by this court as per Bostock v. Clayton County. We have a pretty good chance to minimize gerrymandering in light of the 2020 census. I haven’t check to see how many state houses we will control during the key 2020 map changes, and whether Biden gave us enough downballot races to minimize the places where the Rs can play gerrymandering games. Hopefully, we won’t get 2010 all over again in 2022 when the left thinks they have “won” while the right wing takes over congress because of depressed Democrat turnout. It really depends on whether the economy bounces again after the COVID-19 vaccine. Unfortunately, we can’t split the left the way we (barely) did in 2016, giving us four years of Trump. The Republican party is still too strong for us to do that. The only place where it makes sense to vote third party is in MN, which has ranked choice voting, or in something solidly red or blue (like California or Alabama). I really hate that I will have to give people the “a third party vote supports the party of Trump” lecture in 2022 and 2024. Whether Biden got it because he shifted to the middle is still an open question; I would say probably based on NE-2. Left wing policies are popular. Biden praising Republicans to the extent that he did may have actually harmed downballot races. Moderate “pragmatism” isn’t pragmatism at all. It’s been completely discredited. Sure let's pretend voter suppression gerrymandering and voter intimidation don't exist. Some states actually had mail in voting ballots that looked like Trump campaign ads. Biden's popular vote is the highest ever in the history of the United States. He did what he promised. He got people excited and they actually voted instead of just tweeting about it. I really think millennials idea of voting have been replace by a more logical and more proactive generation Z and also less whiney.
