Horrible Eh, I think the supreme court is actually the most important between the two. Only because in the court system precedent is important. If the court processes certain cases they could create a new precedent that a future case with a more equal or liberal court would need to see evidence or be convinced that the previous precedent was a wrong decision. In other words, it would make it difficult to reverse. With legislation, you just need enough politicians to vote to change something into something else.
