Kanye West presents: the Redneck states American tour :sharon:

The only one in this list that hurts is Minnesota because the race there is actually extremely tight. Vermont is solidly blue and the rest is solidly red :air:

The "bailout" was repaid with interest. Calling a loan a bailout is really misinformation.

https://projects.propublica.org/bailout/

What is misinformation is that you always come into threads concerning the bailout and act as if the banks did nothing wrong in the first place. You always place the onus on the many thousands of people who lose their homes instead. As a landlord, I understand that your instinct is to always blame everything on the person who owes you rent but the fact of the matter is that wall street and the banks committed fraud and are complicit in white collar crimes. Instead of being penalized for their behavior, the Obama administration bailed them out. The end result was nearly 29T given to the banks from the Federal Reserve while millions lost their jobs and their homes and others saw a reduction in their wealth. The fact is you cannot come here 12 years later and rehabilitate the bailout like it was a good thing.

It wasn't.

As for the nomenclature, the fact is that it is always referred to as a bailout. So, the person that is peddling the misinformation is you, as you always do. And as you always will.

I knew it. The Florida USPS is the worst. Mostly because the actual mail carriers are not even USPS employees. It's a contracted service. So it was bad before I can't imagine how it is now with the new Post Master General.

I've been having a problem with how democrats tackled this election. Everyone keeps going on about how when you vote for Trump you're a racist, women hater, climate denier, and that Trump didn't handle corona well and is Putin's puppet, but that's not what most people care about when they vote. You can not tell me that 50% of the US is racist, misogynistic etc., because we're talking about approx. 160 million people! The debates were so focused on these things that other massive problems were not even talked about.

Most people care about how much money they get & keep in their pockets and that's where Trump's tax cuts and protectionist foreign policies actually would fare very well. Where his policies fail is education, health, innovation, and human rights. And not to forget, corona still came from China and it's not true that "we are dying with corona" (Trump's "we will beat this virus easily" mentality seems much more optimistic to a lot of people I would guess), corona has a very low fatality rate and masks do not do the job. Most Americans (or anyone) seem fed up (to me, I mean look at those Halloween parties) with being belittled by a central government telling them to stay at home and wear a mask, and yet everyone keeps saying how the public opinion has been negative on Trump's handling of the corona crisis, but just like with the polls in 2016, Trump keeps drawing this silent crowd out to support him when it comes down to it.

Why not campaign on things that actually matter on a long term, like the education system and the crazy student debts, the horrible healthcare system, gun control, LGBT+ and women's rights and those kinds of things?

Wear a mask hun.

Is it just me or are big news sites like NYTimes, Twitter, etc. having problems loading right now? I saw a hint from the Detroit Free Press that we’re getting closer to having MI be officially for Biden but nothing is opening over here.

I agree with some of what you have said, but not this statement. A low fatality rate compared to what? 230,000+ deaths seems like quite a lot to me. Also, right now, the virus is not under control by any means at all. Of course you've got to have a positive outlook, but you also have to be truthful when speaking to the public. The pandemic is not over and hundreds of thousands of people are dead. The trends show death and cases rising or remaining constant. Of course people are tired, but this is a collective effort people need to just get on with and stop complaining about things like wearing a mask. I've got family who work in the health service and everyday they're risking their lives to protect other people, they're wearing full PPE all day, working every week, their time off work possibly being cancelled because cases are rising, yet they continue because they want to protect others. While others are complaining that wearing a piece of cloth over their face is an attack on the liberty and the government over stepping its authority. People are acting like we're being asked to stay in an undergound concrete bunker with no contact with humanity while wearing a gas mask. It's literally a mask that covers the lower half of your face, it's not really asking much, especially since it can helped to stop the spread of a deadly disease.

Sorry, I started to rant then which sounded angry towards you, but I didn't mean to aim that frustration directly towards you.

A) Lol at you not believing a mask works

B) You think Trump cares about ANY of those things you listed in your last paragraph?
