In my country, the parties bark about the price of rice. One party states, they will provide $10 rice, and other party states, $7. Most of the people besides civil society members will vote for $7; because other issues don't concern them. No matter what Trump is doing, if the tax is less and more jobs(!) / shaky American glorification is there - you have my vote -- and remember most of his supporters are from middle states.

His followers dont see it as Trumps fault, and they are kinda right. The recession bubble has been happening for over a decade and it popped early because of COVID.

They view Trump response to open the country the only solution to the recession, while Democrats want to close the country which will lead the an economic collapse.

You have to understand why people support Trump instead of looking at them with disgust and act morally superior, specially when Democrats are voting for someone like Biden. Biden kicked people out of their homes to bail out the banks dont tell me he helped anyone.

Obviously, I don't hold Trump accountable for the economic effects of COVID

Just saying factually, Biden pulled out the country of a recession and Trump did not.

So that's one thing Biden did, and you can't really use his past to discredit his economic capacities.

Trump supporters are brainwashed to the core. It's been shown time and time conservative ideologies like trickle down economics do not work, or at least do not help the middle class. Unless they're fairly open, there's no way to pull them out of that.

But does he really get credit for an economy that took years to recover, gets credit for an administration that sided with banks over homeowners, that cut food stamps, that wanted to cut social security, that did a bailout that largely benefited the wealthy?

Does that really deserve a positive credit for Joe?

The economy bounced back within the end of Obama's first term in office and the bailouts that I agree with you on with benefiting the wealthy and not holding those responsible accountable- did save the rust belt by saving the auto industry which benefits Biden largely..

Nothing personal, but I find these kind of remarks by democrats very mind boggling and ignorant. If they would take some time to talk to the average Trump voters, they would at least understand why so many people support him.

The dems build a big anti-Trump campaign, but they never seem to have tried to speak with Trump-voters about their problems and fears. Although a part of the voters really are racists and xenophobes, others are genuily afraid of things they don't understand. You might not agree, but you can atleast try to understand. If anything, Biden really has a task to make the two America's talk to eachother again and show some empathy to one another

I have never had an intelligent conversation with a trump supporter. They never have valid reasons and no sources to back to their claims. They just say really vague statements and circle around the questions. I’m sure there are intelligent republicans but I haven’t talked to any personally

I’m 100% sure Biden inviting an Anti-Fracking activist to his rally is why he will lose Pennsylvania.

Biden had 8 years to pull the country out of a recession, and he did that by doing horrible things, like kicking out people out of their homes and giving it to the banks that created the recession.

Democrats also believe in trickle down economy, its just a small percentage of progressives who are not effective that are against that.

Yes they are brainwashed, which is why you have to understand them to reach them.
