Dems are pretty much still gonna retain the House, but what we really need right now (probably more so than the presidency) is the Senate. If Dems take the Senate and keep the House, at the very least they can hopefully block a lot of what Trump wants to do. That said, if Trump wins and the Senate is still Republican, then I truly fear what'll happen in the next four years. We cannot keep living like this. In the event of no trade deal being agreed between the EU and the UK, Johnson has threatened to take action which would have the effect of undermining the Good Friday agreement (the agreement which has brought peace to Northern Ireland). Biden has said that if Johnson does that, there will be no trade deal between the UK and the US under a Biden presidency. Trump, however, would do the deal. In the longer term, the EU itself could break up and we could end up with nationalist nutjob governments. If you were born in the year when WW2 ended, you would be 75 now. There aren't that many people left who remember that period. We are heading in a bad direction. It is vital that Trump is beaten to try and put some sort of brake on things. Because I'm latino and I have lots of friends who migrated to the US and it's been hard for them to legalize their status, and it's always been difficult because of extremely racist ideas, even before/during the Obama administration.
