The only ones who are to blame are those who can't stand free speech and satire, and feel that beheading innocent people is a justified punishment for drawing Muhammed. People should keep on drawing Muhammed and showing the drawings, until the day when no one is ever attacked for doing so again. I know that certain politicians from where I'm from, are already planning on publishing the drawings in different newspapers. I fully support that. You do know the Nazi's justified the same persecution of jews as through that lens. This is just a slippery slope and it will only lead to public unrest over "free speech and satire". You're literally so pathetic for having that mindset and supporting drawings of Muhammad. I know you think its that black and white but its not. This will only instigate Islamaphobia in the country. Children will go to school where they're peers, who don't know any better, will mock them and their religion as "free speech". Thank god, I live in Canada, where we embrace our differences and stand up for each other over things like satire and cartoons which mock our differences and drive us further apart. The way France sees this is religion is controlling their country, speech, and art. Yes most western countries are secular, but France is Secular in a unique way. Knowing the history of the French revolution and fighting the Church, its important to them to not let religion control their free speech and art.
