JusKeepBreathin 19,311
The replies on 50cent's tweet, got me laughing. They are really going at him. Gay Twitter and the allies are so fun. It's not 2005 anymore Just a rapper whose album covers almost always consist of him flashing his abs and his underwear having a life of its own. He hasn't been relevant since 2005 so the fact you don't know who he is can't even be interpreted as shady and/or disrespectful.

Contessa 1,879
I’m so tired of these straiggots and their weird obsession with what gay men are doing. Why are you so concerned if you hate us so much.
Robo Ga 15,314
50 cent is an idiot trump supporter who hasn’t had a hit in 20 years. Irrelevant and embarrassing 🤖⚡️

imnotyourbabe10 6,102
I'd say I'm surprised, but I'm not. Gender as a construct (or even sexuality as partially constructed) will never cross the mind of people like 50 Cent, who is clearly entrenched in heteronormative culture. Just some thoughts I would like to get out. As a queer POC said at one of the BLM protests near me, if you don't support queer people in the BLM protest, you can leave. Grateful for that because I of course support marginalized groups (as I am part of one) but sometimes those groups can be conservative (e.g.,. Catholic views in Mexican culture or the issue of "machismo," for example) and wonder how other marginalized groups would support the LGBTQ community. I'm not over-identifying with these groups, here. Just reflecting on how BLM is an important moment right now -- and if LGBTQ issues become an even bigger topic again (e.g., overturning same-sex marriage federally in the US), I hope that other marginalized groups support us in the queer community just as we have done with them in their movements. Regardless, it is always important to stand up for human rights -- even when folx aren't always on the same page as your activism. Brb, gotta delete 50 Cent and Lil' Wayne from my playlists -- can't believe I even had them in there from the start
