Taylucifer 5,154
What direction do you see Billie's career going in? She's obviously had an incredible start to her career but will she be able to hold onto the same levels of success? What do you think will happen to her in terms of her 'sound', success etc? discuss 'The Life of a Showgirl' is out on Oct
Thomas P 18,479
I think her next album is gonna be huge, but I see her falling into a Lorde/Fiona Apple lane, where she puts out work that is widely acclaimed and not very gp-friendly. I think she’ll still consistently be a big Grammy favourite, and no one is gonna forget who she is, she just won’t be the BIGGEST thing in the world anymore. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
ThisGuyTony 30,657
She can’t release something with the same sound as her debut or else her career is doomed.
androiduser 7,438
she's in a really sensitive situation. She has a very distinct sound, so something too different might alienate her fan base and not win over new fans, and doing the same sound again will be disappointing. She needs to walk a fine line between her signature sound and something fresh.
TimisaMonster 31,073
Her and her leech brother Finneas will separate and it will be ugly but she will still have a career and he won't... I imagine she will do more "pop" songs to experiment if she can fully immerse in the genre but I do wonder if she will grow out of this emo anemic vocal sound lol Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! BlondeQueenOfGGD 25,454
She will release successful projects in the future, but she won’t see the success of WWAFAWDWG ever again, and that isn’t a bad thing.
PsychoMaxcara 814
I honestly don’t get the hype and appeal about her, but truth be told I’m probably not her target audience. To me, she’s very bland and desperate to appear unique & deep. The half whisper half spoken word type of singing also isn’t doing it for me... but hey, she’s got a Grammy, the music academy loves her.
Wet Fire 7,511
WWAFAWDWG is such a breathtakingly beautiful debut album. Whatever she does, this album will remain a classic. I hope to see her experimenting with either jazz or/and electronic sounds in future.
Im Human 133
she will b nothing without finneas and reverse
FFXIV WhiteMage 5,926
Her Miley era will be huge me thinks but honestly, her EP and WWFAWDWG are both phenomenal and will be difficult to follow. Unless she pull an Adele with 21 and

LilyLark 10,104
I actually really like Billie & dislike how GGD drags her constantly....BUT....I suspect she'll fade. Again, this will sound harsh asf but as talented as she is...she doesn't have the vocal range of Fiona or even Lorde. Lorde, Fiona, and Lana all are better song writers, too. Fiona and Lorde were about the same age when they first broke out and Bad Guy/Xanny/When the Party's Over pale in comparison to Criminal or White Teeth Teens or even Royals. Her E.P. and debut album were fantastic, but I do think she benefited from timing (there weren't a lot of artists like her and people were missing Lorde) and her public persona. I'm not sure her persona's going to "age" well when she hits her mid 20s. That said, the media LOVES her along with the recording academy and she does have a dedicated fan base. So even if she fades, I don't think she'll fade into obscurity....she'll become more of a niche artist imo.
yes and 4,884
Her sophomore will be as huge as her debut album, maybe even bigger. She recently mentioned that they were preparing dance songs, so her sound will be much more appealing for GP But then idk Let's see, but she still will be much more successful than Lorde and Fiona Did you think I'd show up in a limousine?
