Sorcerer 12,507
The correct way of describing it is: it's better than Sweetener but not as good as TU,N I think it will still get positive reviews because it's mostly a lush R&B record and critics love a consistent sound. It's certainly not for pop fans tho.
LM 4,067
I was super excited for this one but I just don't like it at all. I've listened to shut up, 34+35, motive and off the table and I have no desire to hear the other tracks

They're just anticipating an album full of "Into You"'s when we knew she definitely wasn't doing a record that was predominantly pop. Positions and Just Like Magic are the only mostly pop-ish songs on the album. It's one of the most cohesive and consistent albums I've ever listened to, I will not lie

And those are two albums this forum doesn't seem to like but most of the GP does. I love gaga but sad to see most users here really do no have taste beyond shallow sexual bops made for clubbing. For me sometimes it's nice to chill to some nice R&B too WAIT FR? Those are fully two of my favourite albums of all time. Okay Iâm hyped again Iâm a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

The first few opening tracks are the most tragic thing a major female artist has done in the last 10 years. 10 hours ago, Chromatography said: are people really going on about growth? the same people who want gaga to work with redone and go back to TFM sound? this website is just really too much I think working with the same producer doesn't necessarily mean you have to regress as an artist. There are many artists who've consistently collaborated with one producer and rarely ventured outside of that relationship, and yet there's quite a bit of growth on their records. Even if something as unlikely as Gaga working with RedOne again were to happen, I think we'd never get Dance in the Dark Part II or ScheiĂe Part II because Gaga's grown and changed so much (and explored so many genres). At this point, I'd much rather have her collaborate with RedOne than BloodPop, who I think is not able to make Gaga's vision truly come to life. I also feel like he dumbs down her songs far more than RedOne ever did, and it can either sound amazing at best or incredibly basic at worst.

Even Dangerous Woman is better than TUN. I really don't get why TUN is so worshipped everywhere, is it the critical acclaim? Imo, TUN is a boring hip hop influenced R&B snoozefest with random spoken word interludes that serve no purpose at all and songs that range from ok to skip immediately. For me, Sweetener is perfect in the way she's combined pure pop music with R&B. Dangerous Woman is what positions wishes it could've been.
Fadonise 75
for me "pov" and "my hair" make the album, but is not a strong one... the other songs are completely forgettable.
