Absolutely great point! I think many members here forget that we are a microcosm of the Little Monster fan base. Just about everyone I know in my life loves Lady Gaga in some fashion. The days around the album released many of my socials were filled with praise left and right; and when 911 was released it was the same thing. Again, I get why people feel that no one cares about her. When we compare how she was in the early days of her career, it makes sense. I sometimes feel like I stan an underrated artist, but then I remember she's fu**ing Academy Award winner Lady Gaga! Do I wish she was all over the place like she was before, of course. But Chromatica feels like a special gem that only we have the privledge of experiencing.

When you have a portion of her fandom that is  dedicated enoughto go out of theyre way to subscribe to a forum thats mostly about her... Are you really going to say it doesnt matter. Its true some members, off late, are a bit the same pop fans that navigate fro. 

Shes gained more traction with a general public, and got back some casual fans that mostly enjoy her work and still manages to produce hype. But these number 1s are short lived. These fans you talk probably arent all that invested. Why? Its not the asib gaga that won them back? Not exactly the 2010 tornado? There must be a reason why she has great audiences in first days, sales etc but its mostly short lived. Its either the product or the presentation that doesnt convince

And also tone down the rudness. This is not a gaga critic. I think these kind of threads are tired.

This whole debate is literally so ridiculous. She doesn't owe us anything but that doesn't mean fans can't expect stuff or be dissappointed with the way this era has been managed. Pretty much every argument defending lack of promo can be debunked. 

1. All these people using covid as an excuse really need to give their heads a shake. Literally everyone had to adapt and was put in the same situation, yet she and her team have done the least. Maybe she didn't feel like going all out with promo like Katy, but so much still could have been done that takes little to no planning and effort on her part. 

2. Then people say, "oh well she decided to focus on more important stuff like social issues." Well thats great, it really is, but that argument loses credibility when she still makes time for haus labs every week or perfumes and watches. Like is it still music not the bling for her? Cause she seems to have reversed that saying in 2020. She also said in her recent billboard interview that she wanted to create stuff for this era that you can't even tell was done during a pandemic, yet she's been silent since that interview. 

3. Then there is the whole, "she is silent cause something big is coming." Literally so many people have said that from june-now and we only got 1 performance and MV which obviously did not take 4 months to do. 

4. "Bobby planned this era 18 months in advanced, they probably lost interest and don't care anymore to redo it all." This one always got me because I don't believe they spent 18 months planning chromatics's promo. Maybe he meant 18 months making the album, but definitely not planning for post Feb 2020. The album wasn't even finished until like early this year which means a release date probably wasn't even picked until end of 2019. So how exactly were they planning the promo for chromatica in 2018 when nothing was confirmed, finished etc. We also know she shot all 3 MVs this year, so it's not like those were done in advance. There is no 3rd single so it's not like they had all the singles planned and ready to go (she even almost switched the lead single), and when SL was released (before covid), all they were doing were radio interviews. While obviously they had an original promo plan, I highly doubt it took 18 months to plan or that it was suppose to be some massive rollout like everyone claims. 

In any case, I think the worst part of it all is the lack of communication and her lack of awareness of how she is coming across to her fans. Like someone else already mentioned, just tell us if the era is still going, what the plans are etc. This whole back and forth of releasing something then going silent and not using it to it's full potential is tiring. Also, it's not a good look for her to be so focused on things that are making her $$$ while she ignores her album. The haus labs promo during the 21 Stefani election day campaign literally is so disheartening.

Okay? That doesn't take away the fact that she is consistently promoting her money making brand but not her music. The pictures are also new photoshoots of her. I think the last photoshoot for chromatica was in May? 

I also think she could have held off from posting during her election focus. It's like she is either so oblivious to how her fans are feeling and how it reflects on her or she just cares more about haus labs than chromatica.

Okay you are missing my point. When did I ever say she needs our permission? I was pointing out the fact that even though haus labs is "just a picture and a caption" it's still actually new photoshoots of her and still disheartening to see her spending more time on that than her album.
