I think she’s tired of the music biz. She’s done it all. Maybe she’s more passionate about make up nowadays and that’s fine. People evolve. Chromatica was a great album and she serviced the album with minimal promo. She still sold SO many albums. Why spend more time promoting something that is selling well. 
Listen, she’s getting older and her priorities are changing. It happens to Britney, Madonna, Rihanna , Whitney and all the pop divas. It will happen to Ariana and Billie. 
My advice is : enjoy the music, promo or not. She’ll come around eventually.
