I- :air:

I only just discovered the original with Anjelica Huston, so I don’t have any childhood attachment to the movie, but i’ll watch it just for anne hathaway tbh

I actually have the same reason on checking this new version, Anne Hathaway :giggle:

I LOVED IT.

Spoiler

The ending was not so satisfying for some reason... But I loved it

I haven't seen this movie, but

Spoiler

If the ending didn't feel satisfying, the ending in the book (which the film is based on) is actually pretty tragic and it's meant to be bittersweet -- basically the boys stay rats forever

I just learned of this (original) movie from watching Trixie and Katya’s reaction to it. I knew of the book.
I’m thinking of subscribing to HBO just for Friends...

Can someone tell me if this movie is scary? If it’s scary I’ll skip it.

Its for kids ... not a horror movie. But it is the kind of scary that sticks with you as a child.

I really want to watch this but HBO max is not available on Roku and my TV is made by Roku.

Love the 1990 version

Going to watch tomorrow night! So excited! I heard it’s more faithful to the book than the other film and Anne is great in it. I’ll post my thoughts after watching :nick:

Loved it. Creepy swanky. No lollygagging.

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart
