She's actually being pretty smart about it, too. Part of what hurt Jennifer Lawrence and Gaga is they were everywhere—tabloids, interviews, projects, etc. It was massive, massive overexposure. 1-2 years ago Ariana was absolutely in danger of that when she was constantly in the tabloids and more. It didn't help when Mac's mom took his ex-gf to the Grammys and his friends seemed to be slightly bothered by Ariana talking about him past a certain point (to be fair, I'm a huge Ari fan but even if I wasn't ....I believe she had the right to talk about Mac). However, she dialed it way back (she barely gets covered in the tabloids lately and people know next to nothing about her new man) & she's changed her look ever so subtly. Well, it's two years gap on each album which is the usual time frame from releasing each after record except 2008-2009 which is understandable since she's a new artist that time. 2014 was for C2C to clean her image.
