Sarah Jefferey criticizes Original Charmed Stars 4 their opposition

Sarah spoke out on Twitter after seeing the actresses, who originally starred in Charmed from 1998 to 2006, criticize The CW reboot on numerous occasions. She told her fans, "You know, I saw this earlier and I refrained from saying anything. I thought, better to just let them shout into the abyss. But I do want to say, I find it sad and quite frankly pathetic to see grown women behaving this way."

The 24-year-old, who stars as Maggie Vera on the reboot, added that she hopes Holly and Rose "find happiness elsewhere and not in the form of putting down other WOC." 

She continued, "I would be embarrassed to behave this way."

Holly and Rose have been fierce opponents of the Charmed reboot, even before it was in production.

I mean I’ve watched all of the original charmed and the new charmed reboot and I love both. However, maybe they just feel as if they’ve been replaced which isn’t the case. They’ll always be known as the originals.

see this is hard bc I am both an (OG) Charmed and a Descendants stan but like honestly Sarah needs to calm down just a tad because this original series is an important show to many (me included), and the remake wasn't doing the show the justice it deserved

Holly is still very active in the Charmed community (goes to conventions all the time for the show and is on panels) so I 100% can see her criticism of the show but I don't keep tabs on Rose much so I can't speak on her criticism (although I do really love Paige as a character)   

I just wish they could do the OG show better justice and everyone could get along sincerely 

no shade to anyone in the show past or present they all do/did their jobs very nicely just the writers didn't help the remake 

 

EDIT: saw the video and like it's mostly Rose speaking on it and yes the OG is better than the remake and I agree that I am glad there are actors who have jobs

Charmed already happened, it didn't need a reboot.

I wasn't a fan of the original, it always looked cheap and was badly written, also Holly and Rose shouldn't talk too loud about the reboot and new generation of actors, those two are very lackluster actors and were lucky to get jobs in their day. Rose gives herself far too much credit, she should be quiet sometimes, she's really hurting her brand here, The Charmed legacy that she is lovingly embraced by, she may turn them all against her too.

Holly and rose were amazing in charmed, it’s rude to insult them as actors especially holly. They were not even consulted about the new one which wouldn’t exist without them. They didn’t do anything wrong. They certainly didn’t put down any other women. Lots of people aren’t interested in the new charmed for many reasons. First season(of the reboot)was just okay second wasn’t worth watching. OG fans just want a movie or some sort of continuation with the original actresses and characters who love this show and made it what it was.

It's always reboots nowadays. Soon there will be a reboot of One Tree Hill, Smallville, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives...do they have any original thought or creativity
