FfFfFfFF 56,101
The video turns 8 years old today (crazily it will be soon a decade old)! The video serves as a visual for the lead single off Paradise EP, is very cinematic and very distinctively Lana. What is your opinion on the video or song? hELXIG 43,094
This was my golden era for Lana I loved every, single, song off BTD Paradise Edition, and it was a lot of songs! Then her next couple albums underwhelmed me Then I loved Lust For Life Lana is hit or miss for me, but when I love it I LOVE it. I have so many memories of playing this album all Summer 2012. Driving to work at the movies in the hot sun, windows down, this new artist I'd just found blaring, maybe a just a tiiiny bit high, driving home again to my flat as the sun sets. My youth I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Sneaky Oliver 22,221
This video has changed my life. Seriously. I have never ever connected to something as deeply. It was also my favorite Lana song at the time but my favorite keeps changing from album to album because every album has such a different mood. That part when she says she has nothing left to live for apart making her own life a work of art... gave me a whole new perspective. I was coming from a phase of a lot of suicide ideation then Born This Way dropped in 2011 and it kinda kept me going but after Ride video monologue, I decided to pursue beautiful things, to create a beautiful life for myself the very same way a painter would paint something brand new

Reject False Icons 4,770
I really love that video, I loved it since it dropped at lana’s highest high after coming from the smashing success of summertime sadness the monologue at my young age spoke to me in the need to run away from my boring routine. After some years I understood many things like giving away your dreams, feeling so low in life, and the despair to find your people. it gives me hope to break from my chains, to not care about what other people think of what I do and the hope to find my people someday
StrawberryBlond 14,881
One of her best if not her best ever music video. The cinematography is stunning, especially her swinging on that tyre that appeared to be hanging from the sky. And that song is one of her most ethereal and iconic, with the instrumental powerful enough even without the brilliant lyrics. I can still remember every single line of the monologue at the beginning and end word-perfect, with the bit about "an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean" hitting the most true. I was standing at her live show at the time mouthing along to them when they played on the screen. As much as I love her music, there isn't actually many of her songs I can actually relate to but this is one of the few that I actually can.

Sister 9,907
Maybe her best song and video, but surely her most heartfelt and deep. It's heartbreakingly beautiful, every step of the way from opening. It runs through my emotions when I play it alone or just go back to the video. Lana Del Rey will always be a special artist with her songs that she has delivered. I could appreciate her alone on just delivering albums and becoming a recluse. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Guest
My favorite video of hers. Ive always been into old hollywood and a huge fan of Marilyn particularly since a child so for me Ive always felt connected to Lana in a different way, it's like finding ur soulmate in the form of art and aesthetic. I just rewatch her videos many times during the year even when she doesnt release anything
