gagaisitalian 3,573
The only thing that really needs to change are the outfits. Some of them limit Gaga's mobility (BTW). Maybe a few choreography changers here and there but otherwise, this tour is epic and iconic.
Celeas 5
Im not a fan of electric chapel live... I dont know why but i feel like the vocals arent to their full potential live. I believe it doesn't sound that good when seeing it on youtube, but live...it was one of my favourite songs! She just acts like a rockstar and I love that :D I'm also wondering if she will change so many things like with MB1.0 to 2.0. The castle itself is awesome, it's pretty impressive...I also liked the fact that there were no video interludes but Mother G.O.A.T., it was like in theatre (although I was kind of disappointed when I first heard about it). Rollercoaster 2
I hope she practices with that damned guitar for Electric Chapel. Her concentration seems very split during that song and it ass ****s the vocal. She needs to perform Paparazzi before electric chapel, though, because the closing sound of Paparazzi and the opening sound of electric chapel are identical. It's an opportunity not to miss. I think the setlist should be.. 1."Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)" 2."Judas" 3."Marry The Night" 4."Black Jesus †Amen Fashion" 5."Born This Way" 6."Bad Romance" 7."Bloody Mary" 8."Government Hooker" 9."Hair" 10."You & I" 11."Paparazzi" 12."Electric Chapel" 13."Poker Face" 14."Americano" 15."Alejandro" 16."Telephone" 17."The Queen" 18."Just Dance" 19."LoveGame" 20."Bad Kids" 21."Heavy Metal Lover" 22."Scheiße" Encore 23."The Edge of Glory" 24."Stache" I'd like less basic b---h dresses and more sculpture-like Lady Gaga outfits, too. misanthrope 15
I never said I didn't like it, I just said it needs to be improved, when I was there I enjoyed almost every second of it but I was just saying that Madonna's show is more mind-blowing cuz of course like you said, it is more expensive and I'm sure there are more people behind Madonna to back her up than there is for Gaga. Well all I really meant to say is that Gaga is capable of doing better than BTW Ball, a more impressive show... I'm hoping BTW 2.0 will be "Having an equal non stan perspective" what a laugh. I'm sorry but i've seen the MDNA tour and its not that mind blowing. What a way to overrate it. Literally the only issue with the BTWB is the fact that the set doesn't change. There's almost no modern pop concerts that don't include set changes, interludes, and remixes so without those attributes its understandable to me why some people would come to the conclusion that the BTWB is sub par in comparison to those that do. But when you really lay out the groundwork its not sub par. In my opinion the fact that the set doesn't change does handicap it, but I honestly can't say the MDNA tour was that much better. Its just that its use of interludes makes it appear more modern. Plus she adds in all of her bull**** political messages as if she actually knows what shes talking about which makes people think she has something to say even though she doesn't. I can't stand that about Madonna honestly.... BUT of course once I actually see the BTWB next month i'll be able to have a more knowledgeable opinion. theredkilt 0
I hope Gagz will remove this awful outfit from Born This Way and chicken vagina that rotisserie chicken snatch has to go. It looks like a high school production. It's cringeworthy
misanthrope 15
that rotisserie chicken snatch has to go. It looks like a high school production. It's cringeworthy Idk what high school production could afford such an enormous prop. But regardless it is cringeworthy. But considering its such a small portion of the show.... theredkilt 0
Maybe she wanted to pop out of that chicken in an egg, but the execution probably made it impossible, so she settled for the zipper snatch. That whole birthing bit is disturbing imho.
Stuff 5
Idk what high school production could afford such an enormous prop. But regardless it is cringeworthy. But considering its such a small portion of the show.... When I saw it the first time I was like "Gaga sis ", but now I'm just used to it. Watching the whole performance from the beginning, from the moment the castle is closed and the the guy starts playing that one instrument (I'm not sure what it is), and the castle starts opening slowly with the music very theatrically, I'm not sure how to explain it, it's sort of awe inspiring (for me at least). It does definitely look like a chicken though. :smh:
wonry 3
I thought it already happened due to the change of outfits & setlist. :flop:

skeletal-hooker 73
i'm fine with her changing all the outfits EXCEPT for the Highway Unicorn/Govt. Hooker one.
Griffin 6
It pains me to say this but, HONESTLY MADONNAS SHOW IS SO MUCH BETTER. Born This Way ball looks and sounds like it was thrown together in a few days... No remixes, no interludes, all of the awkward cuts in the music, the lighting....... I'm hoping it's completely different by the time she comes to LA. - Judas has a remix ending - Just Dance has a remix ending - LoveGame has a remix ending - There's lots of interludes. - Fashion of His Love, LoveGame, Hair and Black Jesus †Amen Fashion are all very different to their original versions. Born This Way ball looks and sounds like it was thrown together in a few days... No remixes, no interludes, all of the awkward cuts in the music, the lighting....... I'm hoping it's completely different by the time she comes to LA. I'm gonna go ahead and assume that you've never been to the BTWB, because had you gone, you would've praised everything you just said was bad about it. I assure you that watching it in video is a completely different experience. 1. Although the remixes are usually just added to the end, the instrumentals are so much fuller and rich that you really don't need remixes. 2. There actually are interludes, but the transitions are so smooth they don't even feel like interludes. 3. There's absolutely no awkward cuts in music, again...smooth transitions. 4. When I went, I was amazed by how the lighting enhanced that show. I know this is all subjective and though I love how Madonna produces shows, it doesn't really push boundaries. her show is mainly made up of giant video screens, which has been used and abused by the industry and Gaga has been trying to walk away from this and she was successful at doing so. All I know is that after going to the btwtb, it's a lot more epic that it seemed on youtube.
