I Guess We'll Never Know

What the Silver Tribe is in the story laid out in the Stupid Love MV. I feel like she had a whole ass storyline planned for the whole era with the theme interconnected in everything from MVs to performances, but I guess there's a really good chance we won't see it.

The tribes were so interesting, the striking imagery, and the whole cohesiveness of it all.

Great things promised/implied that might end up shelved:

- Stupid Love Tribes Storyline

- ChromaTV

- Sour Candy MV

- World Tour

This era deserved better. Gaga and her team planned so hard and they put their souls in this record. And because of this freaking pandemic- I hate the circumstances.

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

Biggest Bitch

i'm not surprised

Yes, I know there's a pandemic, but it's not the first time, when Gaga/Interscope promised us plenty of things at the beginning of a new era. They did it since BTW :selena:

I'm pretty sure we won't even get the Hauslab version of Babylon

I think the tribes concept started and ended on stupid love. I don’t think ROM was meant to connect with that storyline since the video was filmed around the same time, before Corona.

I feel like tribes were a one off concept and never supposed to be more than that.

In my opinion, the tribes are the different emotions/feelings, and the Kindness Punks was her desire of wanting love, driving out the other bad feelings in her mind, as we know, Chromatica is her mind.

Not expecting anything more on tribes other than just it being simple looks for a tour performance.

I think the tribes were just meant for Stupid Love and that’s it. I mean, look at the album photoshoot, she doesn’t reference the tribes at all other than the little Easter egg on the cover.

Ariana had a tribe in Rain on Me. 911 had the tribe symbols too.

Ariana had a tribe symbol and 911 had the tribe symbols painted on her head. Sour Candy lyric vid has the tribes too. It's just that, I don't think she'll be able to implement the full story of the tribes.

Well you could say she’s referenced the concept for sure, but not as explicitly as she did in Stupid Love.

Yup  chances are big that 911 was the last thing we got from this era content-wise. The era would follow the same path as ARTPOP and Joanne.

Honestly, even without the pandemic, I doubt we would've actually gotten that much promo or an extended era more generally. Gaga and her team always make it seem like everything was perfect in hindsight. But then something happens, we hear nothing for a long time, and a few months later she releases a third single music video and the era stops there. If they really wanted to make things work, they could. But Interscope themselves and Gaga herself know that they only put two radio-friendly/single-worthy songs on the album so  just like the previous two studio albums. The ARTPOP era was heaven promo-wise compared to this though.

That 18 month planning period makes me believe otherwise tho. Like, i think they were planning weekly things that would promote her and Chromatica to the point of overexposure.

I was doubtful of gaga's eras too since BTW BUT we did just get ASIB, a perfect era. Soooo, i guess i just feel bad that the plans weren't followed as the material for Chromatica slayage is right there
