Britney's dad is concerned Britney is being given too much 'freedom'

A woman named Jodi Montgomery is now Britney's personal conservator.

According to a new report from Us Weekly, Mr. Spears is worried Ms. Montgomery is giving Britney too much freedom to make decisions regarding her medical treatment. 

“Britney is being given a lot of freedom about making her own decisions when it comes to her medical treatment,” a source tells Us. “Her conservator Jodi Montgomery trusts that Britney has been dealing with this for most of her adult life and should be trusted to be given the responsibility.”

Jamie is “very concerned,” the source says.

“This isn’t about #FreeBritney, her fans or anything else. It’s about Britney’s well-being,” the source continues. “Jamie loves his daughter and is worried about her.”

Mr. Spears is requesting litigation between him and Britney cease at the moment as it could potentially and unnecessarily deplete her funds. They will attempt to work out a resolution outside of court first. Britney wants her dad to step down as financial conservator and instead hire an independent firm to manage her estate. Mr. Spears is resistant to this.

There was also an Accounting hearing today:

The judge has stated they will allow extra time for Sam Ingham/Britney to file their objections regarding the Accounting and Jamie's motion to seal.

Britney's Court appointed Attorney is quoted as saying 'I suspect my client would be willing to file declarations about things Mr Spears wouldn't want to see - Updates from today's court hearing' 

However, Jamie is planning to argue Britney doesn't have the capacity to sign legal documents - despite being able to go on world tours and have a successful 4 year vegas residency:

I honestly never understood why Britney was placed in conservatiorship, okay she had a mental breakdown, so what, she's been to therapy/ recovering center

I really think it's useless because she's not dumb/ill, she can take care of herself..

You'd think it'd be easy to get out of it too.

Just give Britney a psych evaluation and when she comes out clean, give her the tools she needs to take personal responsibility for her own finances and legal issues.

A doctor said she seemed fine enough years ago iirc but the courts still backed jamie
