Gurl, that not how you spell Exile :hor:

Blinding Lights should be Record Of The Year, but not Song Of The Year. I want Exile to shine there

If After Hours, Future Nostalgia or Chromatica win Album Of The Year I'll be very amused.

"Exile" had absolutely NO impact. It's has great lyrics but I don't see it winning anything "of the year". That is some very wishful thinking on your part.:ohwell:

No :vegas:

Success =/= Quality

But I wouldn't be surprised if this piece of :huntyga: wins against Blinding Lights, Rain On Me or Physical :triggered:

Imagine LMAOing users who want ROM to win SOTY while believing a trash song like WAP deserves it more. This is the Grammys, not the VMAs/BBMAs

One of the users LMAOing isn’t even a Gaga fan. Go figure.

The only reason why WAP became big is because its so sexual and shocking. I mean, its not even artistic or done in a clever way. I do enjoy the song but bit*h please, the Grammys are going to shower Dua, The Weeknd, and Taylor Swift with awards. Gaga will probably sweep the pop categories though

The fact poker face, born this way, shallow nor bad romance didn't win SOTY/ROTY yet each one was EXTREMELY impactful compared to these days where most of the winners now are based solely on how popular they are rubs me the wrong way. Gaga should at least have an AOTY/SOTY/ROTY win by now but the academy snubbed her because she was too "eccentric or too "pop" and they preferred giving it to artists who were deemed more stereotypically "serious".

Also to those who are saying Chromatica doesn't deserve to win...it's literally top 3 in Gaga's discography imo. It's arguably her most autobiographical and personal as it discusses her issues with  mental health deeper than any of her past works and she did all of this in the medium of dance music. I'm extremely certain that we'll look back in the next 5 or 10 years complaining how it was under-appreciated, ahead of it's time or how we miss her making this type of music (again) like we usually do as fanbase lol. I'll be looking forward to all the #Justice4Chromatica threads and tweets!

This!

Even though Gaga has many Grammys and, well, it's no surprise as she deserves all of them, she was really snubbed  when talking about the main categories. She deserved to win at least one of the three you mentioned (more than once), but as always, they snubbed her.

And a lot of people might say now that Gaga is not underrated and overlooked by the academy as she has won 11 Grammys and various other awards, including, obviously, the Academy Award. But first, she only started being recognized as a real artist after her career revival, when people started noticing her real voice, as she was dressing more "normal" and singing country, jazz and ballads. And second, even now, she still deserved to win one of the main categories with the ASIB soundtrack, one of the most successful soundtracks in history, but again, she didn't.

In my opinion, Gaga is that kind of artist that artistry and talent will only be fully understood and recognized many many years later. Because people might say now "wow, Lady Gaga is a very talented singer and artist" after ASIB and Joanne, but only in the future people are going to praise her in her entirety as an artist, including all of her early, out of the box and weird work, not just the "stripped back" and "normal" parts of her career.

I guess it's time to make use of the new rule against them. :ally:
