Sorry if i didn’t understand the joke, i can be very serious sometimes, to the point of being humourblind. Being an LGBT person myself, learning about our people, our roots and our commonalities as well as our struggles, is very important to me, in understanding not only my own life but the lives of others. I feel like I have suffered a lot, and I want to reveal that pain, but luckily I know i’m not the only one. Others before me have expressed exactly what I am incapable of. Every kid that questions their sexuality inevitably asks “Why me?” but then i realised I am way more than I can ever understand. To even ask “why me?” would assume that I am capable of comprehending the answer. I’m not. Because I am a part of something that is as old as time.
