@Shadow can you please explain what parts of my comments are rude and insensitive?

Cuz I'm 10000000000% sure I do not deserve any wp for my posts!?!

Also I got only positive reactions on both comments??? Sorry but I do NOT accept your w(A)ps

You come into this thread and ridicule people being offended about an artist being very offensive to an ethnic minority. The comment was disrespectful and did not contribute at least.

And now you're discussing moderation in public when you should being using the Support section where complaints can be resolved. Your 1 point will stick and if you bring this up one more time, more points will be added. Please, do yourself a favor by calming down and letting this go.

Do your own research.

Reported for spreading misinformation that could harm minorities on this website and in the real life. Reported for disguising your hate as you being “woke.” And many other stuff. Take care!

What misinformation? I'm confused :saladga:

not y'all living in a capitalist society which preys upon literally all minorities and gets funded on the innocent killing and suffering of children in the likes of yemen talking about a religion from 1000 years that hated gays 🤡 get educated this is a vicious cycle that never ends.

If that same text from 1000 years ago is still used to oppress not just gays but freedom of expression then it is still a problem. Also there are a handful of countries that enforce strict sharia law and are very capitalist. Saudi Arabia. You can have problems with multiple institutions of power may that be capitalism or religion

So a bunch of words to say Islam thinks gay = bad.

Just like Christianity.

I hate both beliefs equally and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Freedom of speech says you can express your opinions freely (here, your religion). Nowhere does it say that I have to like your opinions. I respect your right to be Muslim and practice your religion and I’m all for that, but I don’t have to like what is said in your holy book, nor does it deserve any kind of special treatment.

And I’m not saying you should love it. Hate it for all I care. You just come of as uneducated on the issue tho. Also quite frankly your wording is not any better than the wording of those who hate gays. It’s coming straight from uneducated beliefs.

BRUH grow up and get over yourself. You're literally whining about a text that was written centuries ago when we're talking about how Rihanna mocking culture/religion is bad (yea that song is just as much Arabic culture that it is Islamic). We're talking about respecting peoples beliefs over acting like a literal child because it accomplishes nothing aside from more hate.

You’re literally whining about a text that was written centuries ago being used in a lingerie ad.

I’m whining about a text that was written centuries ago saying gay is bad and that was used to kill thousands.

Maybe you get over yourself? :awkney:

Saudi arabia doesn't enforce sharia law they enforce what they want. They literally are one of the most corrupt muslim countries that does the opposite of what it says in Islam. Again y'all are being ignorant without any sort of facts.

You feel disrespected by their strict/exclusionary beliefs yet you're literally doing the same to muslims who feel hurt about this? and not even acknowledging that how ironic....

Considering the geopolitical state of the world I think we're not ready to mock muslim culture because it's not as integrated everywhere than christian culture is. That is the main religion (if I may), of the western society (white people)... Though I agree with you, religion gets shoved in our face, people walking on water and stuff... And it's problematic that people with such excentric views on life are like so vocal and even consulted on political topics.

But it's about being sensitive and trying to find ways to include everyone. And fist and foremost the underdogs.

Now that’s rational. I see and understand that point. Which is why I think it’s important to clarify the distinction between mocking/hating/disrespecting the beliefs themselves VS disrespecting the people. I don’t feel guilty considering I clarified that a bunch.

I’m ALL for respect, but it has to be mutual. Which is why I respect tolerant muslims and Christians and their right to religion. But I do not and never will respect a holy book filled with atrocities, whether it be the Bible, the Quran or another one.

I get what you mean to be honest. I know that in western countries, Islam is very toned down and tolerant. My problem isn't with what religion is about, good morals, be kind to one another etc. Its more about the organised religion we have today, for example American evangelical Christians being horribly racist and stuff in the name of Jesus.
