So, are we getting a third single?

Genuine question. Even though 911 has been sent to some select radio markets, it’s not a WW single so as of yet, chromatica still has basically 2 singles. 

With October already here and the election and holidays fast approaching, it looks like a good time to release a 3rd single was a few weeks ago. So will we get one in January? Or are official singles over for the era? I really hope we get a proper 3rd single because we legit haven’t had one since BTW and chromatica is perfect. Even if the single doesn’t perform well cause of the whole « post album singles don’t do well » argument, it shouldn’t matter right cause she’s for the music not the bling? 

It just a huge bummer if we don’t get a 3rd single but as time goes on, it looks like that’ll the case. What do you guys think? What’s gaga’s aversion to releasing more than 2 singles/era?

If there was ever an era to intentionally draw it out as long as possible it would be this one because of the pandemic and the already postponed tour. 

Unless she plans on releasing new music (i.e. an EP or even 2 albums within a year sweetener/TUN style #unlikely), then it would make sense to release a 3rd (even 4th) single in 2021 to keep the hype for the tour/Vegas.

i genuinely believe the era is over in terms of new singles. I think we will be lucky to get a few more award performances and then the Grammys will end the era completely. I actually felt like her including Chromatica 2 and 3 in the 911 video was her way of maybe hinting the era was done and that no more mvs would be shot because she already used Chroma 1 for the SL teasers and then used Chroma 2 and 3 for 911 in a symbolic kind of way I gues...it sort of stinks how Gaga's eras have been short in terms of singles since ARTPOP (a time when artists were still releasing plenty of singles). This era in general has been so underwhelming for her "big pop comeback" and it's not just the Corona and BLM protests that made it this way. It's also Gaga. She just genuinely does not seem excited for this record and I'm ok with that because I know she is drained emotionally from the climate of the world at the moment. It is what it is...I'll be looking forward to an era where I feel like Gaga is fully invested in her music. So far chromatica has not been that era in my opinion. She did give us amazing music videos with ROM and 911 though so for that I am super grateful and it leaves me thinking she totally still has it in her to create "worlds" and great visuals at the very least.

Chromatica had a lot of plans and they’ll probably use those for her next era. ROM is literally the only song that can smash especially since she’s refusing to perform.

Album did pretty good for pandemic standards. 
 

edit: also, any single she releases at this point can’t be nominated for a Grammy in 2022 anyway. And that seems to be what gears her single rollout. Unless the song is remixed with another artist or released differently (Joanne piano version being nominated in 2018) nothing off Chromatica can be nominated in 2022.

Fully agree. So much could have been done to keep the era going continuously but she didn’t. How full they go all out with LG7 and I hope LG7 is just as good as chromatica musically and cohesively.

We are not getting a 3rd single. I think it's safe to say this era is mostly done until she relaunches it. 911 was just a way to feed her fans, which I respect a lot from her, but also a way of saying goodbye to this era. I might be wrong but this year has been intense for everyone and the way this has affected Chromatica's promotion probably hurt her a lot and perhaps she doesn't have the same energy about it, which is totally understandable.

If you aren't counting 911 as a single, what else do you expect to receive that makes it more of a single than 911 

Also there's a chance it was sent to more radio stations but they just don't wanna play it
