I didn't know Lana fans were THIS bad. There is clearly nothing behind that mask. Even if there was, she has maskless pictures with fans. You literally have no ground whatsoever to protect her on this. Y'all are starting to sound like Trump supporters with these meaningless excuses

Fans protecting their fave is nothing new. That's all it is. I feel there's worse things to end someone over. Nowhere has she called the virus a hoax or anything and she has been pictured wearing proper masks before. Just because she wears one not very good one doesn't mean people should try to end her. I just think there's worse people and things to worry about.

I know it might get overwhelming people coming after her, I get that. But sis, she's been doing questionable stuff for a while now, and in a pandemic that has hurt a lot of people, you have to understand that this can be (and possibly will be) the last straw for a lot of people, even when there are so many people who do worse things. Since she's a public figure, she'll obviously have bigger backlash than random people.

Girl made one ill-advised fashion statement with a mask. Just say it's not the best thing to do and move on. This shouldn't be much of a story. No need to call her a Karen or say she's selfish or you're done with her. I wouldn't even say this for someone I disliked, so it's not like I'm just defending her as a fan. I'd have the same reaction for anyone. If we're going to be negative in this highly tumultuous environment, let's just focus on the big fish. I can't deal with everyday negativity right now from bored people stuck inside who are just looking for someone to cancel, it's so childish (I'm not referring to you here, by the way, just in general). If someone gets cancelled, I'd rather it was someone untalented, nasty, a criminal, etc. not a talented singer who's sweet and just trying to live her life and make the best of things. People who are all cold up on that moral high ground won't be so smug if they've been taking precautions and still get the virus. The virus is a bit smarter than a flimsy mask. The only truly safe precaution right now is staying indoors (kinda like the best form of birth control is abstinence). If you're going outside, you're taking a risk no matter how well-kitted out you are, that's just a fact.

No, proper precautions were taken while filming 911. The actors obviously weren’t wearing masks while filming their scenes, but everyone on set had to have negative test results. The director spoke about how they managed to film the video safely and even shared about how they sent a catering employee home for not following protocol.

Everybody had to have solid tests. We had to stand completely away from each other. We were in the desert with tight clothes, so people passed out, two people had to be sent away, one of the cooking people didn’t fill out the right form before coming in and everybody couldn’t eat for another three hours because we had to send the whole catering system away. You had to follow a particular protocol. Especially the heat, it was difficult, and it didn’t help that everyone was sweating like a pig!

Don’t try to drag Gaga into this because of Lana’s dumb decisions.

u can be a huge fan of lana and still hold her accountable. she is one of my favorite artists of all time and i am still beyond disappointed in her. i don’t care that she tested negative, there are false negatives and it’s also not hard to wear a mask. she could still at least advocate for it and stop hiding from this issue. she really really needs to get it together. why would she hold this in the first place? she may have been distanced from the fans, but look at the videos, it is a sea of fans shoulder to shoulder, and she knew this would happen. i don’t know why she’s being like this. i guess i have to separate the art from the artist at least for now.

I don't want her cancelled for any of what she has said and done. I will forever love her music and buy and play it. It's not a big deal to not love the artist behind the art, it's probably much more accurate to most people in the world.

If Lana tested negative, then she can't give it to anyone and if the majority of people are wearing masks, then they can't give it to her, so in this particular instance, there's not much to be worried about. There have been plenty of instances all over media of certain people in certain situations not wearing masks whether it's reading the news or giving an interview or shooting a music video. Use of masks differs and I don't see everyone up in arms about it. Gaga clearly shot the 911 video with all different people from all different families and no one was wearing a mask. I didn't see one member of GGD criticising her for that. It suggests they're only going after specific people and the same standards aren't being held.

I've gone over previously that she's a liberal and anti-Trump. She made her liberal feelings known on her Lust For Life album. She famously tweeted about putting a hex on him a few years ago to bind him from doing evil. She even detailed her anti-cop stance last year and makes fun of cops in one of her music videos. You do know she uses satire and is critical in her work, right? Just because she refers to chemtrails doesn't mean she believes in conspiracy theories. She's just smart with her use of words and meanings. She is a poet.

It's clear a lot of people are speaking a lot about Lana when they clearly don't know enough about her.

On the set of 911 everyone wore masks when not filming and they stayed six away from eachother and there many more safety rules so please leave gaga out of this

Don’t you dare drag Gaga into this mess 

If you’d focused on the interviews given by Gaga and Tarsem Singh you’d know everyone tested negative multiple times and one of the reasons the shoot was so difficult was because of safety protocols. The last scene was also shot in one take and just one night because of corona. 
Lana on the other hands just being irresponsible by gathering a crowd. Why would she have a public gathering at a time like this? Its just irresponsible
