Other than her views about feminism, which she has changed over time, what has she said that's so problematic? I think she's a bit more outspoken these days and its landing her in a bit of trouble but it's hardly controversial so far as I can see.

It's just little things here and there that she has said that have irked me. I didn't mind her opinion about being a feminist though, that is her prerogative.

Lana's been photographed wearing normal looking masks before. It's not like she's been wearing this one the full time or not wearing any at all. She likely just wanted to make a statement on this one occasion to look pretty and it backfired. One mistake is no reason to go to town on her acting like she's cancelled. Maybe I'm overly defending her but I'm tired of seeing people pick on her for everything right now.

I'm not downplaying the importance of masks, I'm just pointing out that masks alone can't save you and we were even told right from the beginning that they were ineffective. Medical staff were getting infected before they got full PPE, when they were just wearing simple masks like the ones that most of the public are wearing. Medical grade ones are better but it seems like visors are truly where it's at, along with gloves. A mere mask will only protect one very specific part of you at most and the virus could easily penetrate the miniscule fibres of a mask. I'm more concerned about close contact than no face coverings. If Lana tested negative, then she can't give it to anyone and if the majority of people are wearing masks, then they can't give it to her, so in this particular instance, there's not much to be worried about. There have been plenty of instances all over media of certain people in certain situations not wearing masks whether it's reading the news or giving an interview or shooting a music video. Use of masks differs and I don't see everyone up in arms about it. Gaga clearly shot the 911 video with all different people from all different families and no one was wearing a mask. I didn't see one member of GGD criticising her for that. It suggests they're only going after specific people and the same standards aren't being held.

I've gone over previously that she's a liberal and anti-Trump. She made her liberal feelings known on her Lust For Life album. She famously tweeted about putting a hex on him a few years ago to bind him from doing evil. She even detailed her anti-cop stance last year and makes fun of cops in one of her music videos. You do know she uses satire and is critical in her work, right? Just because she refers to chemtrails doesn't mean she believes in conspiracy theories. She's just smart with her use of words and meanings. She is a poet.

It's clear a lot of people are speaking a lot about Lana when they clearly don't know enough about her.
