Gurl the point of wearing masks is to minimize the danger you put OTHERS in FROM you. The virus primarily travels with particles in air, and we mainly take it into our system via breathing. That is why no one is asking you to wear wrap-around sunglasses all the time - you cannot infect others with your eyes, and the chances you'll be infected via your eyes is miniscule compared to other ways. Someone would need to breathe/cough directly on your face for that to happen. Simple masks are not designed to keep viruses themselves out, yes, but they CAN keep the aerosol particles that carry viruses. Obviously y'all should know better than wearing a shitty cloth mask, though, and wear at least the three-layered ones, but that is more on people because you learn that through a simple Google search.
