I think california law also allows parties in a relationship to take property/assets in a split from a long term relationship like in a divorce. So he may have legally had to give the house/some money to Nate (he did indirectly mention in a video that nate was trying to get more out of the split). Which could also explain why Jeffree switched state residencies. (Maybe he didnt want that to happen again) But I could also see Jeffree helping nate build his own company/invest in real estate.
