@monstertoronto Of all the classics on this album, this is getting my 11 because I know so many people dislike it the most of any song on here because “it doesn’t fit with the rest of the album”. I don’t care. I think this is one of the most perfect pop songs ever written, the melody just getting prettier and prettier as it goes along and it just always puts an instant smile on my face. I know it’s not going to win but i want to save it as best I can.

@MingersPrayer I remember hearing this for the first time ever on a casette and exclaiming...."THIS IS MADONNA?!" - she has so many styled, aesthetics, voices. Fun and boyant. "Romeo and Juliet they never felt this way I bet" - brilliant. The video has gotten a lot of hate on here but it's classic Herb Ritts and I'm a photographer so I can see the quality.

@nickkoko Once again, another classic 80s single! I remember this was one of the first Madonna songs I heard when I was young so it always holds a special place in my heart.

@Blown Away Another giddy, feel-good song. It reminds me a lot if True Blue, which is my fave Madge song of the 80's. The best part of this is the chorus, it's undeniably cute and catchy.

@whoresup A nice bop, nothing really bad I can say about it. It’s catchy and cute. Nothing life-changing but again very pleasant.
