But the standard with Trump we had going in is that he’s basically unable to debate. And he did in fact debate. The 2minutes muting really played in his cards actually. Because he was FORCED to be more civilized. And it comes of as improvement, because we never seen him do it better.

 

In 2 Election circles for the first time he debated, because everything before that was the trump show, a sh*tshow and a train wreck. He set the bar so low with the last debate, he could ONLY improve and the muting basically helped him with that.

Plus Ted Cruz even said that he was willing to hold Scalias seat open indefinitely should Hillary have won and try to nominate a replacement. 

Republicans literally obstructed anything Obama tried to do. That being said, I still think there was more Obama could have done in his first 2 years.

In fact, the debate would have been more like a film noir if they muted the mics when both of them lied because they both lied quite a bit.

This is a very basic understanding of how the economy works but Biden failed to address it correctly, as a president candidate worries me

Then explain to the class how the federal minimum age has not increased and why prior to the pandemic, nearly half of americans could not handle a $500 cash emergency while american billionaires have seen their wealth increase by 2.6T since 2009. I think you're understanding of the economy is flawed. The fact is the only argument for keeping the minimum wage where it is right now is to continue an oppressive capitalistic system designed to benefit only the people who are already wealthy and poverty and economic duress for everybody else. 

Biden understands this (Trump doesn't) but both are not willing to do anything to redistribute the wealth. The fact is that you cannot sustain an economy the way it is currently set up in perpetuity. The only way forward is rapid redistribution of wealth from the rich downward in a time where anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 of renters across the nation are saying they expect to be evicted from their homes in the next month or two. Having any other opinion on the matter is one of privilege and is in cohorts with the class warfare that is going on and has been going on in this country for decades.
