Jojo Siwa is super influential though - she is taking over the world with her merch/branding. Apparently her brand (not her) is worth more than $1 billion. Her team and her know their target audience and how to market products to them. "****ing rat" - @Dynamite

Daylight Jokers 14,958
Proud of Abel and Megan! Gaga should be on the list tho. The girl literally asked billionaires to donate money for COVID-19 research and curated that One World: Together at Home virtual concert.
Emvee 8,424
On Gaga not being on the list: 1. If you’re truly influential, you don’t need a list to prove that you are. 2. Gaga has said multiple times that she does not need anymore popularity or recognition. 3. Gaga does not need any more people thinking she’s some sort of influential industry overlord that drinks child blood.

Midnight Summer 185
Guys, stop acting brand new. Time magazine always puts popular artists on the cover of their magazines. Just because GD is out of touch doesn't mean the rest of the world is. The Weeknd had a #1 album and two #1 hits (Blinding Lights and Heartless) all in a single year and has been the most listened to artist on Spotify all year. And Meg managed to score two #1 hits within the span of 4 months with Savage and WAP. Girlie hasn't even released a debut album and she's already gained more #1 hits than the plethora of pop girls y'all swear are gonna be the next queens of the music industry. Abel and Meg made WAVES this year. Y'all just decided to ignore it because they aren't manufactured pop girls.

Doot 2
They both look great. Idk if it's the shot, or if Megan is short, but her image almost looks distorted to make her look shorter.
Oyster 2,458
can we be happy for other artists, especially artists of color, without starting a war about gaga? like come on... we can enjoy other artist's success too.
StrawberryBlond 14,885
I just think it's kinda weird how it seems that all it takes to get a place on the list when you're a singer is to sell music. It's way too easy. You have to have actually changed the scene or done a lot of charity work to qualify in my view. Gaga's been featured before and been on a cover so it doesn't bother me but if some of these people are good enough to qualify, so does she. But to anyone saying that the lists are public voted - that's just a fun poll. We found this out way back in 2010 when it didn't matter who the public voted, that's just a public's choice. Time already decide before the poll's even made available who's going to be on it and have all the essays written and photoshoots done. The voting is just to get a public reaction.
