a continuation from my last thread about the never ending rumours of Ayesha possibly but possibly not returning from retirement. her early EP “Big Juicy” is now available on streaming platforms, which wasn’t available before.

backstory:

it might not even be a comeback, i think she’s just uploading her old stuff slowly for fans tbh. so i’m taking it with a grain of salt. her music has been illegally available on youtube and soundcloud for two years, and almost two years after her retirement her music is being reuploaded to her spotify.

it’s on her official streaming app pages. i have been respecting her wishes unlike stans illegally uploading her music to soundcloud. if she addresses this and says it isn’t her (which she would’ve done months ago), then i will happily delete them from my library.

this is different, if it’s on there it’s on there for a reason.

I respect her right to privacy. But I also think that any music she put out, she released to the world and can not take back. It is permanently out there for our consumption, regardless of her wishes. 
 

However, if the following are going on, then I do take issue:

1) If someone other than her is profiting off of these being on streaming platforms simply because they uploaded something they found on the internet on streaming services.

2) If the art for these are using photos of her that didn’t come from her.

not necessarily, this is happened to many lesser known artists i like, their unreleased music is uploaded on all streaming services without their knowledge and available to purchase on their artist page

this isn’t really unreleased tbh, this album was officially out on all streaming platforms long before her retirement. i do see where you’re coming from but i’m pretty sure by now she would’ve caught onto the hype, being that it’s her own music. also as @Chromatica said, her music was released to the public and realistically speaking, asking people to just stop listening to it when it’s right there is not as simple as you may think.

let’s just wait and see if she or one of her friends/artists she produces for released a statement on it. again, if this wasn’t her and she asks people not to stream it, i will gladly delete as i can understand her privacy reasons.

It’s kind of insane how she’s blown up so much yet she doesn’t want anything to do with that part of her life anymore. Like someone else said this may or may not be someone uploading things without her permission since her music has been uploaded and taken down before...
