Chromatica is not a place

Of course in all obviousness it’s not real.

But sometimes we think of it as some fictional planet that’s pink and black and changes colors.

the 911 video really cleared its meaning, Chromatica is not a place, it’s just everything in Gaga’s brain. The tribes fighting were her conflicted emotions. Ain’t it weird and sad. Thinking nothing really existed like waking up from a beautiful dream.

I keep thinking about the MTN monologue. "... as the artist of that painting, I must fill in all the ugly holes and make it beautiful again." There's a real connection here, and it's kind of the same concept as the MTN video. I don't really know how to verbalize what I'm thinking, but she's kind of making up a story to deal with the pain.

Can I... borrow a piece of your chicken?

I think Chromatica is real. But it cannot be seen until we believe in it. There are billions and billions of galaxies, and within our minds is a force so great we often can see things that no-one else can see. I don’t think that mentally ill people are sick - I believe they have a unique vision into other worlds that are as real as our own solar system. The universe is a single organism that is constantly splitting itself into bits and pieces that move further and further away from each other, in space and in time. Two points can inhabit the same dimension and can coexist - or be at war with oneself. Like doubt & hope.

Didn’t Gaga say this exact thing before?

"Well, Chromatica is more than just an album: It's a planet, a plane of existence, a special location that you're all invited to. And guess where it exists? You won't find it in a textbook, on a map, or on Google, anywhere. "It's right here," she said, pointing to her heart. "I might sound silly, but I'm on it right now — I'm not on another planet. If you see and listen to Chromatica, and you want to live there too, you're invited."

911 is one of the most intelligent things Lady Gaga has ever conceived. Truly a masterpiece and rightfully a cultural reset.

Yup, my understanding is that Chromatica is a state of mind. We all have our own version of Chromatica in our heads,

From everything i’ve seen/read this era, i think chromatica is a state of mind in which nothing is wrong or right, it’s like finding your own truth within your reality to create a mindset that helps you cope with your struggles, and each song on this album either represents those coping techniques or her problems:

Alice = persistence

Stupid Love = healing through love

ROM = radical acceptance of your problems in order to cope with them

Free Woman = self love

Fun Tonight = not being able to be ok

911 = medication

Plastic Doll = her struggles with fame

Sour Candy = women empowerment

Enigma = Lady Gaga persona

Replay = Triggers  and PTSD

Sine From Above = Surviving/healing through music, trusting her work and its process

1000 Doves = Seeking help, accepting vulnerability

Babylon = celebration and overcoming things
