Murkowski and Grassley said they oppose filling a SC seat in 2020, well see if they keep their word. I doubt it. 

Collins and Romney could be two other possible picks, but I'm just so defeated.

The Supreme Court doesn’t have a “term” to limit. It’s for life. And that will always be a fundamentally good thing. Because it prevents from the political sways of each election from determining the constitutionality of the law.

 

 

Sorry but just because you are upset and frustrated doesn’t mean we should abolish one of the fundamental aspects of the balance of power our country was built on.

Democrats are the left. That’s how people that live in the US refer to Democrats...the left. You would know this if you lived in the US. 

Voting for Joe gives Democrats control of the SC come January. Trump has already had enough influence on the courts. You give him four more years, it will be disastrous.

No.  The republicans controlled the senate in 2016 and were able to prevent Obama's nominee from reaching the senate floor for a vote, claiming they should wait until after the election.

In 2018, the democrats (not in control) tried to block Trump's nominee and the republicans up and changed the rules so the minority party could no longer prevent the vote from reaching the floor.

The only way Trump's upcoming nominee will not get appointed to the supreme court before next year is for 4+ republican senators to oppose it (by either not supporting a vote until the next election is decided, or by voting against Trumps' nominees).
