Someone on Twitter posted reality vs. What she saw and... while I still say not what I expected (would have loved a futuristic dance video) in the end - video wise, creativity wise, this is genius

Daenerys

It’s very campy. I like how she incorporated everything happening to her in “real life” with everything happening to her in her hallucination. It’s a lot to take in, I have to watch it a few more times

But it didn’t feel like she was portraying mental illness either it just looked like bad acting and awkward movement

For me it was clear at the first watch

I love it so artistic with so many layers, the only thing that got me was the woman's cry at 4:22 :rip:

No, we want Chromatica era back. What the hell was that?

Speak for yourself and educate yourself on art.

That was intentional. I mean, did you notice the contrast of everyone's acting from that dream sequence to the real life one?

Love everything about the video! The artistic vision, the fashion choices, the way the scenes are shot. It's really good.

I will say that I don't know why Gaga chose that particular scenery, like the old-timey huts and castles giving Midsommar vibes. I think there could have been a way to take the art that inspired many of these scenes and modernized it to fit the concept of Chromatica better.

That's my only criticism. It's soo interesting, i've watched it like 10 times already!

ITS AMAZINGGGGG!!! ITS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT EVERYONE EXPECTED, BUT IT TURNED OUT REALLY GREAT :tony:

The big question is: are we getting A Sine From Above next? :nooo:

Hearing the intro at the end of the video made me excited

I loved it, I hope the next MV will be for Alice or Free Woman to close the era, with a nice scifi video

I definitely think she has a story in mind, and that there is something she want to tell us. She's known to take her pain from real life and make it into something artistic, and leave it behind. I feel like that actually is what she's been doing her whole career. And that's really brave imo. Because you constantly go back to those moments in life that's been the most painful. I don't really know if she want her art to be viewed exactly how she sees it in her mind. But I feel like I got a story, from my perspective, as a viewer right away. Idk if this really makes sense. But to me the story was clear from the the first watch. But that might have something with how I project my feelings into what I see.

Yeah but i was so distracted by the beauty of it that i had to watch it again. :saladga:
