The girl basically admits charts and buzz is all she cares about, neither of which she has these days, so it’s convenient for her to “stan” Gaga now. forgive... perhaps, forget, never. She’s bubbling under, her album didn’t debut even in the top 3, she only barely had 50,000 album sales her first week. And by her music and her visuals, it’s pretty apparent she isn’t even about trying to be Teenage Dream Katy anymore and she’s just making what she wants. Her label definetily played on the rivalty and won that time But i think she was not really found of it, she always reckons Gaga as one of her idol (and the other way.. ) So she's forgiven ! Witness seemed like a misstep, whereas Smile seemed like she just didn't totally care? Maybe mean to say, but Smile really feels like a mixtape. Witness at least was cohesive and well thought-out.
